When Life Goes Well - What THEN?

For some of us who have managed to navigate truly treacherous waters of abuse, neglect, and horrific events, the real challenges are not those moments of fear, but those when we are actually achieving our dreams.

Truly it can be when there is calm from all storms, when we project our deepest desires on the universe and the universe says, "Sure, Why not!!".

I've been running up against this challenge a great deal lately. And instead of skipping and jumping with joy (okay, I DO initially SKIP AND JUMP and express joy), I begin to hit the FEAR WALL. The fear of not being able to step into that new life, where things are good.

Happened big time this week when I proposed to a fellow writer that we run writer workshops in my beloved sister country, Australia, and she loved the idea and ran with it. So now I'm faced with actually accepting that my dream of working in Australia on a project dear to my heart will actually come true.

That is, unless....I sabotage it. O, this time, I hope not. This time I up to accepting LIVING a life of my own design, accepting my skill set as being enough, or even more than enough.....we shall see.
